DoubleClick id Third-party persistent doubleclick.net DoubleClick uses cookies to improve advertising. Some common uses of cookies include selection of advertising based on what's relevant to a user to improve the reports on campaign performance and to prevent the user to see ads already shown in the past. DoubleClick sends a cookie to the browser when a user visits a page where they appear DoubleClick ads. Pages with ads include DoubleClick ad tags that tell the browser to request ad content to the ad server DoubleClick. When the server displays the content of the ads, send a cookie. For this to happen, it is not necessary on a page are shown ads DoubleClick; just include DoubleClick ad tag that could instead load detection tool clicks or impressions of a pixel.
